Ajou University Community-Based Medical Education Showcase
Three medical schools gathered to reflect on a year of work. zzzarit made sure the event ran exactly as it should.

The event ended at 7:40 p.m. It was the community-based medical education showcase for Gyeonggi-do's medical education innovation support program. The title was long, but the purpose was clear: Ajou University, Sungkyunkwan University, and CHA University came together to share what they had taught and learned in local communities over the course of a year.

What zzzarit handled
zzzarit was brought in near the end of May. The scope covered PM, audio operation, event staffing, MC support, event PPT production, name tag and badge design, and ten acrylic table signs for participating institutions. In practice, that meant almost everything needed to make the event run.
- PM: coordination from intake to show day
- Audio operator: live control for microphones, speakers, and presentation sound
- Event staff: registration, floor guidance, and attendee flow
- MC support: running the program against the scenario
- Three design items: event PPT, name tags, and badges
- Acrylic nameplates: ten institutional table signs
Materials arrived in late May. The event was June 17.
The first materials arrived on May 27. For the next three weeks, presentation decks kept changing. Revisions came in until three days before the event, and two presentations arrived right before the program started. Even the table-sign copy was not finalized until the last minute.
That is how events go. They rarely unfold exactly as planned. What matters is not getting shaken when variables appear. zzzarit kept tracking the latest files and folded them into the live run of show.

June 17, 5 p.m.
The lobby display already showed event directions. Signage led people toward Topaz Hall on the second floor, and the registration desk filled with faculty members, medical students, Gyeonggi-do officials, and local training-site partners. About 80 people. Round tables filled the hall.

After the opening remarks and welcome addresses came an appreciation ceremony. Presentations followed: two from CHA University, one from Sungkyunkwan, one from Ajou, plus talks from student representatives at all three schools. Ten A0 posters created by medical students were displayed outside the hall. Q&A wrapped up at 7:40 p.m.

An 80-person event still demands precision
Eighty attendees may not sound large. But academic events often require more precision as they get smaller. Ten institutional table signs, attendee list checks, slide-switch timing, audio levels: on this kind of stage, every detail is visible.
