Box photobooth vs. open kiosk — what's the actual difference
Two things both called 'photobooth,' priced multiples apart.
Photobooths mostly split into two formats: box-style, where you shoot inside an enclosed booth, and open-kiosk, where you shoot right in front of a kiosk screen with no enclosure. zzzarit uses the open-kiosk format.
Why open kiosk
- Takes up less space — no separate booth structure to install like a box format
- Lower setup burden — a backdrop wall isn't part of the base configuration, so setup is fast
- A backdrop wall can still be added as an option if needed
Billing units change the total cost
The common industry billing unit is 4 hours. Run longer, and you add more blocks of time. zzzarit bills by the day — however long the event runs, there's no extra charge within that day.
Check the print policy too
How many copies you can print from a single shot also varies by vendor. zzzarit doesn't charge per print — one photo can be printed multiple times so everyone in the shot goes home with a copy. Consumables are included up to one media kit (about 1,400 prints); beyond that, extra kits are billed at cost per set.
