At a formal report session, students went home holding photos

zzzarit's photobooth stood in a corner of the Ajou IPE outcome session. The line in front of it never thinned until the event ended.

Report sessions are formal by nature. Slides advance, analysis is shared, applause follows. The Ajou IPE Program Outcome Sharing Session on July 3, 2026 was no different. But when the official program ended, students headed for a single white kiosk standing in the corner.

Pick a frame, shoot, print

  1. 1Pick a frame on the screen — 2-cut strip or 4-cut grid.
  2. 2Line up with friends in front of the screen and shoot.
  3. 3The instant printer beside the kiosk prints it on the spot.

Frame selection on screen. A kiosk and a printer — that's the whole setup.

No photographer, no studio booth. One kiosk, one instant printer — it stands anywhere with a power outlet and venue Wi-Fi. Attendees operate it themselves, so it doesn't need dedicated staff.

Not a box booth — an open kiosk

If photobooth pricing has ever felt steep, you were mostly paying for the box. Walled booths and backdrop walls eat floor space and add setup cost. zzzarit's photobooth is an open kiosk with no backdrop wall by default — it stands light, and that's why it costs less. If your event really needs a backdrop, it's available as an option.

The billing unit is different too. The industry standard is 4-hour blocks; zzzarit bills per day. Your event can run from morning to night with no overtime charges. Print consumables are included up to one media kit (about 1,400 prints), and any extra kits are billed at cost — nothing hidden.

And printing doesn't stop at one copy. A single shot can be printed multiple times, so a group of four goes home with four copies.

The more formal the event, the better it works

Photobooths sound like pop-up store material. In practice it's the opposite: report sessions, symposiums, and workshops get the most out of one. For attendees who sat through presentations all day, it becomes the one part of the program where everyone laughs together.

That's how it went here too. Throughout the dinner networking, the line kept forming. Students who had been teammates came in teams, professors stood with students, and the staff each printed one on their way out.

The slides end up in an inbox; the photo ends up in a wallet. How an event gets remembered is surprisingly simple.

FAQ

What does zzzarit's photobooth consist of?

One photobooth kiosk and one instant printer. Attendees pick a frame (2-cut strip, 4-cut grid, etc.) on screen, shoot, and the photo prints on the spot. No photographer or booth construction — it runs anywhere with a power outlet and venue Wi-Fi.

Can I rent the photobooth for a single day?

Yes. zzzarit's photobooth is available per-day — the Ajou IPE outcome session used a one-day setup. Two frame designs are included: send us your own background design, or share your event's key visual and we'll design them for you. Additional frames are quoted separately.

Does a photobooth fit formal events like report sessions or symposiums?

Formal events benefit the most. It gives attendees who sat through presentations all day a moment to laugh together, and the printed photo becomes the souvenir they carry home.

Why is it cheaper than other photobooth vendors?

Because the box isn't part of the package. There's no walled booth or backdrop wall by default — the open kiosk takes little floor space and needs no construction. Billing is per day rather than the industry-standard 4-hour blocks, so your event runs all day with no overtime charges. If you do want a backdrop wall, it's available as an option.

Does it print only one copy per shot?

No. A single shot can be printed multiple times, so everyone in the photo goes home with their own copy. There's no per-print charge; consumables are included up to one media kit (about 1,400 prints).

Can I try the photobooth in advance?

Yes. The experience page on zzzarit's website lets you try the photobooth content right in your browser — the frame selection and shooting flow are identical to the real thing.
